Stories about near-death experiences, or NDEs, have fascinated mankind for as long as they've been happening. Many people who've experienced an NDE report spiritual encounters, either feeling they've gone to a different realm, one where they met either the ghosts of their loved ones or other spiritual guides.
Some even return with specific messages, having heard warnings, insights, or other visions regarding the future.

Julie Poole is a self-described "Author, Psychic Intuitive, and Channeller" as well as a "Personal Empowerment Coach and Law of Attraction Teacher." She shares her teachings via her YouTube channel and website, aiming to "help others find their own empowerment" through spiritual practices such as astrology, tarot reading, hypnotherapy, and more.
All these gifts and insights reportedly come from her 'spiritual team' who she says channels through her, giving her messages to share with the world. She began receiving these messages during a dark part of her past, the first being a world-changing prediction of the future.
In a recent podcast interview, Poole shared some details about the vision she saw and what got her to that point.
She opened up about her checkered past, revealing that she experienced "physical, mental, sexual, and emotional abuse" at a young age. This trauma caused a lot of pain in her life, so much so that she attempted to take her own life via medication overdose when she was in her 20s. She was declared clinically dead for three days before she returned to her body.
It was during these three days that she had her spiritual awakening. She says that she spent those days in heaven, or at least a heaven-like realm. "I suddenly saw my guides and my angels around me and then they lifted me up, and took me up to the Higher Realms. I just remember saying 'I'm going home’ and they said 'No you’re not, it’s not your time.'"
The spirits then said to her, "We did warn you it would be too hard and too overwhelming, and now here you are at 21 trying to check out."

During her time in death, she says these spirits promised her that between 2012 and 2032, a new 'Golden Age' for mankind would begin.
As Poole described it, "What we mean by the Golden Age is that for millennia now there has been an enormous amount of power, abuse and control… all of that has been held by the few and has controlled the masses."
"This Golden Age is bringing an equality across the board, so that which is false and fake and untrue and corrupt will fall away."
We're 12 years into this supposed prophecy, but Poole believes the exact start of this golden age hasn't come yet, and she believes we're still moving ever closer to a "day of reckoning."
"It's coming up not so that we can have some sort of Armageddon, but the people in power that are corrupt are getting found out," she described. "They're getting caught and kicked out, and people that have a pure heart pure intentions are coming in instead."
This darkest moment as she visited what lies beyond was the catalyst for her spiritual practice, which has since transformed her life entirely. That alone is an incredible story.
To then bring news about humanity's next chapter makes this whole experience even more fascinating. The idea of a reckoning that then brings about a Golden Age is probably scary to some but hopeful to others, and really, there's no right or wrong way to feel about the idea.
Even if it never comes true, this visit to the realm beyond saved one life, Poole's own, and that's more than enough.
