Troubling 2023 Predictions By Blind Mystic Baba Vanga, Famous For Her Accuracy
The year 2022 is ending, giving the world an opportunity for change, growth, and moving forward. This year was eventful, to say the least. From pandemics to wars and technological advances, it definitely kept us on our toes. While we hope the coming year will bring us calmness and peace, 2023 is actually predicted to have quite scary events.
Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, who is commonly known as Baba Vanga, rose to fame during the dark days of the Second World War. But even after her death in 1996, she kept her reputation as the Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga, renowned for her apparent ability to foretell the future. She is believed to have predicted everything from 9/11 to the rise of Donald Trump.
According to her, the year 2023 will be full of trials and tribulations, with possible visits from aliens and nuclear explosions.
Who Is Baba Venga?
Baba Venga, also known as the blind clairvoyant or "the Nostradamus of the Balkans," became famous for allegedly correctly predicting world-changing events from 9/11, tensions with North Korea, Brexit, Barack Obama's presidency to the death of Princess Diana. Now her name is once again making the rounds as people want to know what predictions she has for 2023.
Before her world-famous predictions, let was know about the famous Baba Vanga. What we do know is that she was born in 1911 in Strumica, North Macedonia, and is believed to have spent most of her life in the mountains of Bulgaria. Because she was blind, it was thought that she was given the rare gift of seeing into the future from God. She claimed that this was God's gift to her after she lost her sight at the age of 12.
Before she died in 1996, she left us with predictions to prepare for the worst, most notably claiming that 5079 would be the year that the world ends.

The first prediction, according to Baba Vanga, is a solar storm that would strike Earth in 2023 on a scale the world has never before seen. A solar storm refers to events that take place on the sun's surface, including solar flares and coronal mass ejections. This alarming prediction could have catastrophic consequences if the eruptions and plasma reach the Earth, causing geomagnetic storms that would fry our grid.
The closest we've ever come to experiencing this was in 1859 during the Carrington event. The storm then knocked out telegraph networks and even caused fires and electric shocks.
But because of how much we rely on electricity today, if this happened, it would cut off our communication and services, making everyday life unimaginable. The blackout could last for years, causing financial markets to crash and for society to become chaotic.
Bio-Weapons By Big Country
Baba Venga predicted that in 2023, a "big country" would carry out bioweapons research on people. The result of this research will cause the death of thousands of people. Baba Venga claims to have had visions of the bioweapons being tested in a big country in 2023, a prediction that is especially scary in today's heated geopolitical world.
We can only guess the extent of these experiments, but some people are already claiming that it could have to do with a virus that is weaponized and somehow escapes the lab. However, if that were to happen, it would violate the Biological Weapons Convention, which bans the development and production of toxins and agents. That hasn't stopped countries in the past, however, with the Soviet Union and Ira both breaking that rule.
Nuclear Explosions From Power Plant
Baba Venga has precited a nuclear explosion in 2023 coming from a power plant. In 2022, the world came very close to a nuclear explosion in the midst of threats and escalating conflict between the West and Russia over the Ukraine war.
Is it possible that these threats will be carried out in the new year? Ukraine continues to face attacks from Russian forces using drones and heavy artillery today, so the future is still unsettling.

Year after year, we get this prediction. Baba Venga once again shared the prophecy about aliens' visits to Earth for the year 2023. However, this year, the foreteller warns that the world could find itself "covered in darkness". Baba Venga claimed that millions would die if aliens visited Earth next year.

Even if many are still skeptical, the study's existence suggests that something the agency once avoided is becoming an appropriate topic of inquiry.

As technology advances far beyond anything Baba Venga could have imagined in her time, she still was able to predict that humans would grow in labs in 2023. The concept of lab babies is not too far out of reach, considering the ways science has paved the way for contraception and creation.
Scientists already have plans to grow human embryos in a lab using high-tech artificial wombs. Doctors at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia are having conversations with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to begin testing artificial wombs on human embryos within the next two years, so this prediction seems more like a reality already.
A Change In The Earth's Orbit
Earth orbits the Sun at an average distance of 149.60 million km, which takes 365 days. We have been using its rotation as part of our understanding of time for as long as we can remember. But, Baba Veng predicted that in 2023, the Earth's path could change. This would throw our entire universe off balance.
Our planet is shaped like an oval rather than a perfect circle. The oval is the result of the influence of other planets' gravitational forces. This means that the Earth’s orbit can and does shift across many thousands of years. While it happens subtly, the changes can have severe effects like global warming. But a change that is radical enough, it could be apocalyptic. Temperatures and radiation levels could become unbearable.

We have no idea how much of what Baba Venga predicted will come true. Her predictions weren't recorded and, at this point, are simply being passed on. That's why there is some debate over what she actually said or didn't.
All we know is that much of what she has said in the past did come true, so we should prepare for the worst, just in case.
