The Blind Mystic Has Been Accurate In Previous Years

Blind mystic Baba Vanga, is likely best known for the accuracy with which she predicted the rise of Islamic State, Brexit and even the 9/11 attacks in New York. In 1989, she warned that “American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds … and innocent blood will be gushing.” This was then interpreted to be about the plane attacks on 9/11.

She also predicted that the 44th US president would be black and ended up being right when President Barack Obama was elected. Last year, for 2021 she had hits and misses. For instance, she predicted a cure for Cancer, and a “dragon seizing humanity”, which some think could be China’s rising power.

More Natural Disasters

We don’t even need a mystic to alert us of the risk of more natural catastrophes taking place this year. 2021 saw some devasting disasters and many forest fires. Climate change seems to be rapidly taking vengeance.

Baba specifically warned that several Asian countries, along with Australia, will be hit by floods. Her prediction is supported by the Bureau of Meteorology who stated that there is an increased possibility of tropical cyclones and flooding in Australia. These have taken place before in 2011. If this is right we may be defenseless against it and will only be able to come together to deal with the consequences.

Another Lethal Virus

Apparently, the Covid-19 pandemic that completely flipped our world upside down won’t be the only one. Even after over two years of dealing with one virus, we soon might have to face another. Baba predicted that a lethal virus would be discovered in Siberia after having been frozen for years. She says that it will be defrosted due to climate change.

We won’t know if she’s right till the damage has already been done but what we do know is that scientists have found crackers in the glacier in Antarctica so ice is really melted. We also know that the World Health Organisation sent medical help to South Sudan to investigate a mysterious illness.

An Alien Encounter

Baba predicted that an asteroid known as “Oumuamua” will be sent by aliens to find out if there’s really life on Earth. The problem is that they may not be friendly and are predicted to possibly take prisoners when they land.

So far, we haven’t publicly proven the existence of aliens let alone prepared for a visit. While some believe in their existence and even declare having witnessed them, so far aliens have only been the subject of science fiction. Could 2022 be the first time that we actually make contact? A Drastic Shortage In Drinking Water

Baba predicts that many cities could simultaneously experience difficulties in accessing drinking water. This isn’t news to anyone and has already been happening for a while. In fact, billions of people are experiencing water scarcity as we speak.

Right now 1.1 billion people lack access to water and 2.7 billion experience water scarcity at least one month a year. They say that by 2025, two-thirds of the world’s population could be dealing with water shortages.

Tragedies In India

India could be dealing with some of its worst times in 2022 according to Baba. She predicts that temperatures will reach 50C and that farms and corps will be attacked by locusts. Baba also predicts that these will lead to a great famine.

Indian agriculture is heavily dependent on climate. They have experienced famine before due to droughts and political failures. The last major famine was the Bengal famine of 1943.

A Loss of Sense Of Reality

Baba died in 1996 long before she could have known how far technology would go today. Without knowing that virtual reality could ever take over, Baba predicted that people would be drawn into a downwards spiral because they will no longer be able to fight their addiction to technology.

She warned that people won’t even be able to tell reality apart from fantasy. This one seems quite plausible as many struggle to live without their phone or need for validation from social media.

Real Or Fake?

Are Baba’s prophecies real? A. 2012 investigation suggested that predictions could have been created by Russian social media trolls. However, since she died in 1996 the predictions seem too coincidental to be made up by trolls.
