5 Traits That All People Find Attractive

How do you go about choosing someone you’d like to date? Do you decide by the color of their hair or eyes, or maybe their personality or body type?

I’ve often wondered why people I find attractive, other people don’t find attractive at all.

Beauty is absolutely subjective, but here are 5 traits that both men and women find attractive.

1. Kindness

Kindness is a trait that both men and women find incredibly attractive in a mate. I mean, who wants to be with someone who is mean?

Kindness makes you more attractive no matter what you look like. Just remember, someone who is nice to you but mean to a stranger is not a kind person.

2. A sense of humor

Nothing is more attractive than a sense of humor. Laughing relieves tension and laughing with others increases bonding. Nobody wants to be with someone who is always down.

Having a shared sense of humor is like speaking the same language. Humor can be a common point of interest for both of you.

3. Liking your love interest’s friends

Your friends are extremely important to you. So, it’s only natural that if your love interest likes your friends and your friends like him/her, that’s going to be incredibly attractive to you.

4. Confidence

Confidence creates an aura that draws people in. Confident people tend to think on the positive side because they are secure in themselves and aren’t easily thrown off track.

If you are confident in yourself, your worth and your abilities, you will be more attractive to other people.

5. Passion

I’m not talking about “between the sheets” passion (although that’s great, too). I’m talking about a passion for life, for hobbies, for whatever it is that is important to you.

Passionate people come off as having a lot of self-assurance because they seem so clear on all their values and goals and where they stand on the issues that are important to them.
