It’s conjunct (aligned) with Uranus, arguably the most energetic planet aside from Mars, that which is associated with the spark of mental thought. Uranus and its sign Aquarius are that revolutionary energy, the thing in a person that says “this is what I believe in, this is what I stand for.”
The climate created by a Uranus seed planted in a Lunar cycle, well it’s very opinionated.
When everybody is energized, passionate and opinionated at once, the results are like a roller coaster. If you can handle the intensity of the environment, you could accomplish a lot.
This is the chart for the New Moon of Electrified Intent, an important milestone in 2020, a year of higher energy and greater activity among all.
Although the New Moon is conjunct this bright spark of electric energy, Uranus, it’s also making a hard square to Saturn, which should produce a serious, determined, hardened tone to the atmosphere of the days following it.
This won’t feel like the slow, heavy Saturn of 2019, but more like a firm determination being added to a central theme of active, energized, in motion energy.
Adding to the passion people are capable of feeling in the air, we have Venus, the planet of social and romantic activity, in the very center of the social, active and extroverted sign of Gemini.
To make the social climate even more energetic, Venus is trine Mars in Aquarius, conducting that same type of electric, opinionated energy that its planet Uranus possesses.
A theme of constant firewater, energy and raw motivation mixing with the visionary, contemplative and creative qualities of Neptune/Pisces, well once again the Lunar cycle is showing the significance of the theme.
The New Moon is actually tightly semisquare Neptune, and this is important especially because Uranus semisquare Neptune is one of only 2 minor aspects between the great bodies of all intelligence and intuition (Uranus/Neptune) since the surge of creative energy we saw in the early – mid 1990’s.
That’s when it was Uranus conjunct Neptune.

The meaning of that is essentially, renaissance periods, moments of pure depth of intelligent thought and creativity, love for music and the arts, all of this, they come with Uranus/Neptune transits.
These transits do not come often, with the two planets moving the slowest.
One happened around 1991 – 1996 (Uranus conjunct Neptune), another happened around 2011 (Uranus semisextile Neptune), and one is happening now (Uranus semisquare Neptune).
This one is actually the first disharmonious Uranus/Neptune aspect in decades and decades. Although it’s a very minor aspect, it can be felt in this New Moon and here’s what that entails.
A certain disharmony, a need for resolution, between conflicting elements of our culture will be noticed in this week following the New Moon.
When a disharmonious aspect between the two great bodies of all intelligence and intuition happens, the two main planets influencing culture, creation, and ideas, such things as technology (Uranus) can clash with spirituality (Neptune).
Ideas and beliefs (Uranus) can clash with the softer, more esoteric forms of insight (Neptune), leading to a purified, now-tested result, of the cultural re-shuffling.
This is the second Moon in a sequence of 4, Full Moons and New Moons, that spell out the numbers “7 22 7 22.”
It’s a Full Moon on April 7, New Moon on the 22nd, Full Moon on May 7, and New Moon on May 22nd.
The significance of this is the fact that 22 divided by 7 is a sacred equation, which happens to equal Pi, the sacred ratio of a circle, a positive, Godly shape in this universe.
This reads as a sign from the universe or whatever you believe in, that things are coming together, falling into place like puzzle pieces.
The firewater theme is being emphasized here by Venus’ square to Neptune, something that will somewhat balance out the electric, energized qualities of Sun conjunct Uranus in the next several days.
At the same time as this surge of thinking, confident Uranus energy emerges, peaking in 3 days, Venus in Gemini will square Neptune in Pisces, to create this more humble, contemplative, spiritual “bubble of thought” energy that will briefly interrupt the extroverted trend.
On the other hand, Mercury in Aries (conjunct Eris the dwarf planet, also hinting at waves of insight or intuition), it will square Jupiter + Pluto, the most energetic, focused, ambitious and central energy in the air throughout 2020.
The fire in our collective mental state, hunger and passion to accomplish or pursue something will really be felt during this simple yet potent equation of Mercury in Aries square Jupiter + Pluto in Capricorn.

This will unfold in the next week, as the reverberating effect of the “seed planting” of the Lunar cycle, the New Moon, provides a foundation for what we’re building now.
The Perfect Ritual For The New Moon
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Paper/notebook
- Pen/pencil
- Envelope(s)
- Candles (however many you feel is necessary)
Instructions:
Sitting somewhere comfortably light your candles. Allow yourself a moment to meditate and relax. Once you are situated begin writing things down.
Write about anything that comes to mind. Put everything down on paper. All of the things that bring you happiness and where you want to be this time next year.
Write for as long as you feel is necessary but try to get at least eleven or so minutes in. Do this at 11:11 am or 1:11 pm if possible to keep the energies as balanced as possible.
Once you have things down on paper go over the things you’ve written down. What things stand out the most to you?
Bring everything over to a new paper that stood out to you and burn the old paper. Now, focus on narrowing things down to three main goals/points.
Close your eyes and really focus on these things, which ones are most important to you from the things you’ve carried over.
Once you have the three narrowed down give yourself a moment to manifest. Think about how important they are and allow yourself permission to make them happen.
Seal these three things away in an envelope and place them somewhere safe. Once you have done this go relax in a warm bath and meditate over your own thoughts.
Cleanse yourself of any blockages and prepare to move forth once this day has passed. While this might not seem like much it will make a huge difference in how these energies work for you.
