John Maloof, a historical hobbyist, bought a box full of photo negatives at a local auction for $380, but had no idea what he stumbled onto. The photographs were taken in the 1950’s and 1960’s by a photographer named Vivian Maier. Her focus on life on the streets in the middle of the twentieth century were stunning and incredible.
