Moodiness And Irritability

When dealing with anxiety, anyone is subject to mood swings. The intensity of these mood swings depends on the person and their situation. When someone has a lower amount of patience and focus, they automatically have a shorter fuse. They may lash out in their mental fatigue. Chemically the brain is in a state of flux and change.

The anxiety makes a person very much on edge and uncertain. They may be handling it well one moment but the situation will change and when it does, they will loose their mental footing. You have to remember that anxiety triggers depression, mania , and everything in between. It clears the way for many different mental and emotional formations to manifest.

Sugary or Starchy Food Cravings And Sensitivity

Eating these foods cause a temporary opiate like reaction. This temporary relief makes sugary foods very desirable in the height of anxiety. The ‘crash’ that happens after consuming these foods worsen the mental and emotional status of the person.Sugar and starch are also inflammatory foods making frequent consumption not ideal for the body.

Sleeping Issues

Sleep is becoming harder and harder for most people to get consistently, people with chronic anxiety have an even harder time. When you are anxious it can seem impossible to relax and seek rest. In the struggle for meaningful rest, it’s common to get upset or stressed over a lack of sleep.

Meditation, therapy and medications are the most direct manner to handle insomnia. The problem is compounded the longer a person goes without deep sleep. Most people think that the more tired a person feels the easier they will fall asleep. If the source of anxiety isn’t dealt with they will continue to not rest and proceed to get crazier and weirder.

Trouble Focusing And Concentrating

Anxiety takes up mental resources simply by existing, and dealing with it takes even more energy and resources. Anxiety can strike at any time, in varying degrees of intensity, this makes it critical to seek out ways to limit the effects of anxiety. The better equipped you are to handle anxiety and the stress that comes from dealing with it, the better you will focus.

Muscle Pain

IT’s very common for stress to manifest itself in physical manners, When stressed or anxious about something you may unconsciously tighten certain muscles or hold your weight in an unnatural position. This causes joints to become strained or muscles to build knots. In a simpler example stress can manifest in the muscles as pain and inflammation.

The amount of pain is directly related to how much stress and anxiety the person is dealing with. Stretching and massages can relieve a lot of the discomfort associated with anxiety. If you don’t take steps to treat the pain or inflammation, it will become a source of anxiety and stress all by itself.

Fatigue

The strain of anxiety and all the feelings it inspires, is enough to wear anyone down. Not just mentally but physically as well. Chemically, anxiety triggers the adrenal glands via the fight or flight reaction. After these glands have spent the stores of hormones, they lose their effectiveness in balancing the mind and body.

Headaches

A common symptom of anxiety is frequent headaches. They can vary in intensity, anything from a discomfort to a migraine. The chemical exchange that anxiety triggers is enough to cause headaches.High levels of stress are common reactions to anxiety. The stress causes muscle muscle tension around the neck, spine, and head, especially the temples. This adds to the environment that breeds headaches.
