Pequeño Editor, an Argentina book publisher, recently released a book with a big surprise: you can plant it when you’re done reading it and it will grow a tree. The publisher says it’s “a book that returns to nature what it took from it.”
The book uses acid-free paper impregnated with Jacaranda seeds, a flowering tree native to South and Central America. It’s printed with biodegradable ink.
The book, Mi papá estuvo en la selva, is a story told from the point of view of a young boy, based on a true story, in the jungle of Ecuador. It comes with a powerful environmental message.
