Don’t be alarmed if you’ve suddenly found an urge to color-code your shoe closet. That’s just the kind of energy being in the middle of Virgo season holds. However, this powerful energy will hold a lot more for the New Moon, pushing us to do some much-needed soul searching as we collectively spiritually awaken.

Keep in mind that during a New Moon, the Sun and the Moon are right beside each other as they sit on the same degree of the zodiac. The New Moon represents rebirth and is a great time to roll the dice on a new venture. This Sun and Moon conjunction will be at 14° from the sign of Virgo.

No More Room For Chaos

First thing’s first, we’re letting go of what no longer serves us. This new moon is bringing a feeling of clarity both to our physical environment and to our emotions. With clarity comes order and with that comes a feeling of safety while centered in our environment.

In order to ground ourselves, we will need to get organized in the midst of chaos. This means being tolerant of imperfections and trusting the space in between what we can control and what we cannot.

As with the rebirth of the New Moon, this New Moon in Virgo is the optimal time for release. At its height on Monday, Sept. 6 at 8:52 p.m. EST (5:52 p.m. PST), as it moves into the Virgo season, focus on setting your expectations rather than caving in to the onsetting craving for perfection.

Under the new moon, take the time to examine every relationship in your life, including to material things, and chose to release all the ones holding you back from your highest self.

Alignment With Uranus Brings Harmony

The main planet aligning with this Virgo New Moon is a near-exact harmonious trine with Uranus. Think of the trine as a representation of the relationship between the two planets as they align together to form a 120° angle. The closer they align, the more favorable is the relationship between them.

For us that means feelings of harmony as well. It will push us to want to step out of comfort zone in search of a change, and with a hunger for freedom and adventure.

Extra Energy For Intentions

Virgo’s energy is already quite powerful but on September 6, in this kind of lunation, it comes with more and even unpredictable energy. It might have to do with the unpredictable planet Uranus.

However, by staying forward-focused and hopeful we can use its power to make practical plans. This intention will create the frequencies necessary to set these plans in motion.

Opposition To Neptune Brings Doubts

The New Moon in Virgo on September 7 is also Opposite to Neptune in Pisces. On one hand this can awaken doubts, and a lack of confidence in ourselves. We may fear what the future looks like and if we truly have the power to change it.

On the other hand, this is kind of questioning is what is required to take a good look at our choices thus far, in order to align with the ones we need to make to lead us on the right path.

Act On Intuition

To get through this New Moon, we must rely on our intuition. Mars is conjunct to the New Moon in Virgo and well-connected to Pluto in Capricorn. This alignment encourages us to act on our intuition, which is often guided by the angels.

The trine between Mercury; ruler of Virgo and Saturn in Air signs in this New Moon sky will be on our side as we communicate with ourselves as we transform and take control of our lives.
