Things like letting people higher up than you speak first. Things like knowing that, in order to be sitting around not doing much, you need to be in a high place.
These lessons are an important thing to learn. Lessons like the turkey and the bull, showing that BS might get you to the top but it won’t keep you there. And of course the one about the bird flying south in winter, showing that not everyone who is mean to you is an enemy.
