Raising One Eyebrow

“30% of the population can raise one eyebrow.” For those who never questioned this before, you probably have always done it and assumed it was normal. It turns out the majority of people can’t raise one eye brow at time and end up raising both at once.

One eyebrow raise usually signifies confusion, surprise, skepticism and sometimes even anger. Feeling one of these emotions might make it easier to try it.

Being Left Handed

“Only 10% of the world’s population is left-handed.” The good news though is that anyone can become left-handed if they really wanted to be. While only 10% of the population is born naturally left-handed, the fact of beingleft-handed is only 25% genetic.

That means that teaching yourself to use both hands can be hard but not impossible over time. Studies haven’t found any significant results to show that using both hands improves brain function but it’s still a neat ability to have.

Sneezing With The Sun

Perfect Eyesight

“Only 35% of people have perfect vision without glasses.” Even if you once had perfect vision, it’s not uncommon for it to deteriorate over time.

Freckles are often seen as a sign of beauty and individuality. They are often drawn on by some people in fashion because they tend to make a face look younger.

Dimples

“Only around 25% of the population has dimples.” Many find this indentation on the cheek to be adorable. Some people have them on one cheek while others have them on both.

Some people find dimples so attractive that they get piercings or cosmetic surgery to get their appearance. They might be considered so attractivebecause they are very prominent and catch your eye whenever you look at them even if the person with dimples is not smiling.

Wrist Muscule

This muscle in your wrist was apparently used by our ancestors to help them climb trees. Fast forward some generations later and some people might genetically still have it. After all the body is known to mutate and adapt to help us survive our ever-changing environments.

Sneezing With Eyes Open

“1% of the population can actually sneeze with their eyes open.” We dare you to go ahead and try this one. Your body will likely fight you unless you happen to be a part of that one percent. You might have heard as a kid that sneezing with your eyes open will make an eyeball pop out but scientists say the pressure released from a sneeze is very unlikely to cause such damage.

We close our eyes when we sneeze to prevent the expelled particles from entering their eyes and from the muscle contraction.
