Hover technology seems to be the way things are headed with transportation, from levitating trains to hover bikes. The first manned hoverbike has taken flight in a Hungarian airfield and could be a real game changer.
The bike can’t yet be used for long trips, but it can sustain flight for about 20 minutes. Its speed can be adjusted by controlling the rotors. The inventors believe that the bike will be able to “hover, roll, bank, drift, spin, yaw, climb, turn, sidle, dive…”
The Flike was invented by a team of Bay Zoltan Nonprofit Ltd. It has successfully carried 240kg in test flights. It may take some time to perfect, but so far it’s looking good. Check it out in action!
