If a manipulator is coming at you full speed with their horrible intentions, or you can just tell from their demeanor what they want, you can simply say that you will wait for them to calm down before you are willing to listen.

Someone who is forcefully trying to pry things from you without caring for your input is someone who is unwilling to listen or care for your needs and your wants.

In order for them to be an approachable person, they are going to have to calm down first.

5. Just Say No

If all else fails, you can always just say no.
