Baba Vanga is a very mystical, mysterious figure. She's been called the blind clairvoyant and the 'Nostradamus of the Balkans' for her eerily accurate predictions over the years. If you don't know her, she was a blind fortune teller born in 1911 in Strumica, North Macedonia. She and others believe that God granted her the gift of future sight after she lost her own ability to see at age 12.
She's made yearly predictions all the way until 5079, so though she passed away in 1996, her predictions live on. She's accurately predicted events like the death of Princess Diana, the Chernobyl disaster, the COVID pandemic, and even her own death, down to the month and day.
Now, we look to what she has to say about the upcoming year of 2024.
2024 will be a year full of natural disasters, said Vanga. This means extreme weather events that could potentially be tied to the ongoing effects of climate change. In recent years, Vanga has predicted droughts and floods, so further major weather events could very well happen.
Alongside these extreme weather patterns, she also predicted an increase in solar radiation levels, so be sure to protect yourself this summer to keep your skin from getting fried.
Baba Vanga also has predictions regarding the current digital state of affairs. She said that hackers will rise in strength and start trialing new tactics, namely by targeting vital infrastructure such as power grids or water treatment plants.
These attacks are meant to disrupt the daily functions of life and raise threats to national security. To what end? We don't know yet, but presumably, they'll have some sort of reasoning or motive for wanting to affect average citizens.
On a more positive technological note, this year will see major breakthroughs in things like quantum computing, according to Vanga. These advancements will revolutionize the field of technology and research, opening the doors for further advancements in both professional and consumer tech.
She said that this advancement will be able to solve problems that are currently too complex for the computers we have. She also predicted a further rise in the use of AI, a topic that already caused much debate and controversy in 2023.
This year already hasn't been great economically for many people, and unfortunately, it doesn't look like it'll be getting any better next year, according to Vanga. She cites rising debt and continuing global tensions as the reason for further economic trouble.
These economic dips will be felt globally, so at least we won't be alone in our struggles. If you're worried, it may be best to start preparing now if you can, stock up on a few things, or start pinching some pennies here and there.
Finally, on a very good note, Vanga says we're going to see some simply miraculous advancements in the medical field. First, she specifically predicted a major breakthrough in the treatment of Alzheimer's patients.
Second, she claims we're going to discover the cure for cancer. She said that humanity will shackle cancer "with iron chains," which sounds pretty decisively like we'll be able to defeat it without question in the coming years.
It's important to note that Vanga's predictions were never formally recorded by her and are largely passed down via word of mouth and sources who worked with her. As much as she's had some scarily accurate predictions, she's also been wrong about some things, no one is 100% right all the time.
If you don't want to fret over her words, then you focus on your own personal goals instead. Those are the only things you can truly have influence over and guarantee the outcome of.
Knowing what to work on in the coming year can be tough if you feel lost or out of place, but there's an easy way to get some guidance that'll put you on the right path for 2024.
