Birth numbers are great for learning more about who you are and gaining a bit of insight into how you operate in the world around you.

So what exactly is a birth number? A birth number is calculated by the month, day and year you were born.

That’s right, the numerology of your birth date, despite whatever month you were born, can reveal the certain personality that you have and it’s pretty crazy how accurate it works!

Each birth number is tied to our natural abilities and what challenges we are likely to face! To decipher your birth number, use this simple technique!

Add all the numbers in your birth date, then add those individual numbers, then add the two digit number that remains.

1 + 9 = 10

1 + 0 = 1

Note: If you end up with 10 at the end, strike the 0. Your number is one.

If you got birth number one, you’re a creative type who prefers to have things done your way.

You’re incredibly honest with people and often fulfill the role of leader or boss in a work setting.

You can be stubborn and arrogant at times, so it’s best for you to remember that other people are capable of being just as great as you are.

The originators are original people who naturally execute new ideas without difficulty.

They have a tendency to be a little bit arrogant though. They’re honest, but have trouble accepting the ideas of others.

Famous 1′s: Tom Hanks, Robert Redford, Hulk Hogan, Carol Burnett, Wynona Judd, Nancy Reagan, Raquel Welch.

If you got birth number two, you’re the natural-born diplomat who typically puts others’ needs before your own.

They prefer to be surrounded by friends and companions, but would rather be alone instead of enduring a relationship that they’re not fond of.

As somewhat shy folks, peacemakers need to learn how to be comfortable when expressing their views and opinions, and how not to procrastinate.

They’re keenly aware of what others need and often think of others before themselves. They dislike being alone.

They strongly value friendship. They can be shy but should learn to boost their self-esteem by finding validation from within.

Famous 2′s: President Bill Clinton, Madonna, Whoopee Goldberg, Thomas Edison, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

3. THE LIFE OF THE PARTY

Number three’s are the charismatic, social, romantic, charming, carefree of the bunch.

They are usually quite popular because of how much they help others to achieve happiness.

Their downfall is that they often start things and do not finish them, so it’s good for them to learn how to approach things from a more realistic standpoint.

These folks are creative, social, charming and easy going. They often have trouble seeing projects through to the end.

They like to see other people happy and will do what they can to make it a reality.

They tend to be popular. But they tend to view the world through an unrealistic lens.

Famous 3′s: Alan Alder, Ann Landers, Bill Cosby, Melanie Griffith, Karen Round butt, Salvador Dali, Jodi Foster

As a four, you’re someone who prefers the rigidity of order and ritual. You only fully participate when your goals and objectives are clearly outlined, but you love working hard.

You feel most at home outside in nature. Your lesson to learn is how to be flexible, and how to not be so hard on yourself.

The conservatives love tradition, tend to be routine, and enjoy order. They like working hard and getting their hands dirty.

They enjoy the outdoors and nature. They have a tendency to be stubborn and should learn to be more flexible and nicer to themselves.

Famous 4′s: Neil Diamond, Margaret Thatcher, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tina Turner, Paul Hogan, Oprah Winfrey

Fives, you’re the rebels of the group. Your naturally curious demeanor has you taking risks and your charming enthusiasm sees you coming out on top.

You hate monotony and stagnation and prefer to be learning whenever you can.

You’d do well to halt any assumptions you have in life before obtaining all of the necessary information to make a well-informed decision.

The nonconformists are explorers. They dance to their own tune, but tend to ostracize others.

They have trouble dealing with ‘the man’ and in many ways would rather be left alone.

#5s should remember the value in being able to work with others.

Famous 5′s: Abraham Lincoln, Charlotte Bronte, Jessica Walter, Vincent VanGogh, Bette Midler, Helen Keller and Mark Hail.

They enjoy having strong familial ties and often go out of their way to make sure others are taken care of properly.

They enjoy creative hobbies like art and music, and make some of the best friends because of their loyalty.

The Romantic needs to learn the difference between situations that they can change, and ones they cannot.

Romantics feel like they need to be useful and happy at all times.

Family is important to them and they have a strong urge to take care of others. They’re loyal and make excellent teachers.

They need to remember to focus on what they can change, not what they can’t.

Famous 6′s: Albert Einstein, Jane Seymour, John Denver, Merlyn Steep, Christopher Columbus, Goldie Hawn

7. THE INTELLECTUAL

Sevens, you guys are the skeptics of the group. You always see the bigger picture that often eludes most others because emotion never clouds your thoughts.

You question everything in life, which lends to your intellectual and knowledgeable demeanor. You make the best researchers.

Because you like to live in your own world, it would serve you well to learn a bit more about what’s acceptable in the real world.

The intellectuals are the searchers of hidden information.

When they uncover something new, all they want to do is share with the world. They’re unswayed by their emotions.

Decisions come from logical conclusions for them. They tend to believe that slow and steady wins the race. They tend to be very philosophical.

They tend to keep secrets, but should take care to realize that not everyone is as passionate about their scholastic interests.

Professional, assertive and quick to make good decisions, you take charge to ensure your grandiose plans are accomplished.

Sometimes, your objectivity keeps you from making the best decisions for yourself, so focus on improving your own life before others (when you need to).

8′s are the problem solvers. They tend to be professionals and hold their accomplishments in high regard.

They take pride in their work, but should be careful not to become power hungry.

Famous 8′s: Edgar Cayce, Barbara Streisand, George Harrison, Jane Fonda, Pablo Picasso, Aretha Franklin, Nostradamus

There are no strangers in this world, only friends you haven’t met yet.

You seamlessly move from group to group, using your chameleon-like personality to blend into any social setting perfectly.

To find success in life, do your best to build a foundation of love upon which to set off and explore the world.

They tend to be generous and caring, often giving away the last of their money to help others.

They’re charming and rarely does a stranger remain that way for long.

They change often and blend in. They enjoy having a loving foundation, but should learn greater independence.
